THE DISCO WILL NEVER STOP!!!
Wow, I was really looking forward to writing about the second floor. That's where I had my first romance, oh my. I remember it like it was yesterday: me and some college friends were heading to another party night at Paradise Disco. We were all dressed up in ridiculous costumes; even we didn't know what we were dressed as. I was wearing a suit, my hair was dyed green, and I had movie glasses on, looking like a cheap copy of Max Headroom. It was ridiculous! But we went anyway, and there we were, jumping and dancing amidst all those people, vibrant lights, loud music, until someone touched my shoulder.
A beautiful girl with blonde hair, tan skin, and gorgeous eyes asked me to dance. She ASKED ME!!! Like, wow, me??? Wow, I thought I was dreaming; I even pinched myself. It was quite a night! We danced a lot, enjoying every moment, until she had to leave when one of her friends pulled her away. Unfortunately, she didn't even have time to write down her number. Oh man, that was the shortest romance of my life, maybe the only one.
But on the second floor it was all or nothing! Many things happened, not to mention the DJs who were hand-picked by one of the names behind Paradise Disco. Of course, I'm talking about Billy, he managed most things when it came to parties. According to his brother George: "This guy was born to party."
The area was quite spacious. To the right, there was a huge bar where they served all the drinks and had top-notch bartenders. To the left, there was a games room: billiards, a poker table, and a few other games where you could lose money carelessly. I remember when a friend of mine won a bet against a country bumpkin; little did he expect to win a goat instead of money!
Not to mention the enormous dance floor in the center of the place, that illustrious crystal ball that sat on top and created an absurdly good atmosphere. The colorful lights gave it an exciting life. No place was like it, and I'm not just saying that because I was a difficult person to get into parties, but it had a mesmerizing magic. Everyone said the same thing, and that made the competitors seethe with envy.
I'm sure you all would love that place as much as I do! But do you know who truly loved that place? Billy Maximilian!!! So let's take a look at some of the ideas that were generated by that brilliant mind!
